Recent changes in legislation in the UK have made giving simpler and more tax-effective. The King's Foundation can now reclaim UK basic rate income tax (or capital gains tax) you have paid on all donations without the need of a deed of covenant. This is of enormous benefit and can add £2.82 to every £10 you give us.
Of particular interest to many donors will be the income tax relief available on gifts of certain shares and securities to The King's Foundation.
You may wish to consider making a personal or company dedicated gift to fund a significant part of any of the developments, or alternatively to make a major contribution to other objectives of the Foundation and Scholarships. Particular areas and projects can also be specifically named; and, of course, all donors may give to The King's Foundation through our Angelling Scheme.
When giving a single or a regular gift from UK taxed income all you need to do is complete the Gift Aid Declaration and the Single or Regular Gift details.
However large or small your gift, we hope that you feel that you can support The King's Foundation by making a donation in some way. There are several choices.
A Single Gift
If you wish to make a single donation, please complete the Gift Aid Declaration and the Single Gift details.
A Legacy to the King's Foundation
Legacies are an important source of income and support for the Foundation. If you would like more information on leaving a legacy to The King's Foundation, please ask for our brochure "A Legacy for the Future".
A Regular Gift
We welcome regular gifts by monthly, quarterly or annual standing order. This provides a predictable income which helps The King's Foundation to plan. If you wish to give in this way, please complete the Gift Aid Declaration and Regular Gift details.
A Gift or Legacy from the USA
All American benefactors will be able to make their donations within the USA, thus achieving the normal tax relief available under current US charitable-giving tax legislation. The Director would be pleased to discuss these matters with all potential US donors.
A Gift of Shares
There are benefits in share-giving for both you, the donor and for The Foundation. If you would like to give listed or other shares to The King's Foundation and you need any further information, please contact the Foundation Director.
